Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a thank you card featuring The Fierce Ferns stamp set from the Summer 2022 Release. 

I started off by gold heat embossing the Fierce Ferns image on some watercolor paper. I watercolored the Fern leaves in warm green tones and added a bit of perylene violet to each leaf. After the image was dry I cut it with the coordinating die. 

I chose a burgundy cardbase for the Fierce Ferns which goes well with the perylene violet. I cut the Convention coverplate from the same burgundy cardstock and adhered it on the cardbase. I splattered gold ink on the card and let it dry. 

After that I foam mounted the Fierce Ferns and the gold heat embossed sentiment from the Urban Jungle set. 

To add more shiny gold to my card I scattered the Medallion Gold sequins as finishing touch!

Sometimes a dark cardbase helps to make the main image to stand out!
