The Ton Design Team
Hello friends, my name is Mayline Sihyun Jung. I was born and raised in South Korea. I moved to Canada in 2008 and I am living Vancouver now. It’s one of the best places to live. I love arts, design and paper crafting, especially card making. It was by chance in 2012 that I watched a card making tutorial on Youtube. Immediately, I fell in love with the craft so I watched tutorials for an entire year and finally at the end of 2013 I decided to try to make cards. This is my short story on how my love for making cards began. I love clean and simple cards which are based on my unique creative ideas and layouts. Sometime I draw my own images using pencils, watercolour or acrylic paint. I am super-excited and very honored to be part of the amazing design team of The Ton. Hello! My name is Emily. I’ve been married to my redhead for six years, and I am mommy-in-chief to my two sweet little two year old twinkies. I used to be a musician, teaching voice lessons and singing, and I developed an interest in card making when I wanted something specific for our wedding thank you cards. While we were trying to start our family after I finished school, my previously sporadic interest in crafting began it’s ascension to full blown obsession. It was the best distraction during that seemingly-interminable time I could have hoped for. Now that I’m at home with my kiddos full time, my craft room is where I disappear during nap time to lose myself (and hopefully whatever Sesame Street song is stuck in my head) in my stamps, ink, and card stock. I adore floral stamps, especially when I can combine them with my Zig Clean Color markers and paintbrush, so the classy, elegant stamps from The Ton have become a staple in my craft room. I am so thrilled to be on this design team, and I can’t wait to work with these incredibly talented ladies! You can find my blog here and my Instagram (@eamidgett) here.
Hello friends, my name is Eun Ji Jung. I live in Seoul, South Korea. I started paper crafting by carving a stamp piece myself. After that I created my own cards. At first, I thought making cards and working in such small space was strange because there was so many techniques and ideas to work with. But the more cards I made, the more I began to fall in love with this craft. I especially love to color with watercolor, colored pencils, markers, pens and so many other tools. I am so excited to join The Ton’s design team. I want my work to inspire many people so I am alway trying new things! You can find my blog here and my Instagram (@rkdwlr88) here.

I’ve always been interested in craft and doodling since I was a kid. My journey into paper crafting started with scrapbooking and branched out to card making soon after. I love playing with pretty papers , critter or flower stamps and pretty colors. I’d describe my style as CAS, cute & cheerful. I love using happy colors. I kind of a rainbow & unicorn kind of girl. Hah! And, dog. I am very much a dog person with a very special love for pug. I am also the founder and organizer for Caring Hearts Card Drive that I now run with Jennifer McGuire. Hello everyone! My name is Jenny Lee Yamasaki. I was born in South Korea, and have been residing in sunny California for about 30 years. I’ve been happily married for 7 years, and I am a mother of a 4-year-old girl and a 7-year-old fur baby. My card making journey began while I was bed ridden due to my back surgery in 2015. During that time, I watched tons of card making tutorial videos on YouTube for months, and decided to try making my own cards. Thereafter, card making has been my therapy, passion, and obsession. Hello! My name is TaeEun Yoo. I’m a happily married SAHM to a 8 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and lived in Germany for 18 years, before I came over to NJ, USA in 2013. I fell in love with cardmaking hobby, as I watched some video tutorials in 2015 with my little girl, who loves crafting, too. Hello everyone!! My name is Brenda. I live in a small town in MO. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Doug, for almost 20 years (in April)! We have two fur babies, Bailey & Sidney, both golden retrievers!! I must have been a dog in a former life, because I LOVE all dogs. Doug & I own & operate a two-truck, monster truck racing business (he drives, I don’t…wink), which involves a lot of travel on the weekends, putting on shows around the country. I have always had a creative side, especially a love for coloring. I even won a coloring contest when I was in grade school & won several tickets to Six Flags. During high school & college I airbrushed T-shirts at Six Flags. I became involved in papercrafting through scrapbooking, which I did for several years. The last couple of years I have become addicted to card making. I LOVE coloring flowers with all different mediums, including inks, Copic markers, watercolor, Zig watercolor markers, colored pencils, etc. Clean and simple cards that let the stamped image shine are my favorite, that’s why I love The Ton stamps…they are so beautiful!!! I am soooooo excited to be joining this team of talented artists at The Ton!!! My blog can be found here (bear with me, as I am new to this blogging thing), but Instagram is my jam (@mypapercutcreations).
