Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a great week so far! It’s TaeEun here today with a card I made using the Fierce Ferns, the Grouped Fresh Carnations and the Eucalyptus sets. Actually I was going to make a card using only the Fierce Ferns which is a large Fern leaf image. But I couldn’t resist adding a flower 🙂 !
I started off by heat embossing the Fierce Ferns image in white on a watercolor paper panel. I sprinkled the Lime Green and Fuchsia Color Burst powder on the panel and spritzed water to blend the colors. I repeated the process two more times until I was happy with the result and let the panel dry.
The dried panel was cut using a die from the Rectangle A2 Nested Die set and then foam mounted on a white cardbase. I thought the fern branch would look better with some flowers. Luckily I found a watercolored carnation in the same hue like the Fuchsia Color Burst in my stash. The carnation is from the Grouped Fresh Carnations set. I gold heat embossed the outline image and watercolored it. To complete the floral cluster I added two Eucalyptus branches to the carnation. The Eucalyptus is a grouped layering stamp set. I stamped it in Soft Garden, Bright Fern and Warm Hazelnut.
The sentiment is from the Fierce Ferns set. I stamped it in Noir and cut it using the coordinating die. Some Fern Green Gems were my finishing touch for this card.
That’s it from me for today!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
