Stenciled Daisy and Sunflower Birthday Cards

Hello, fellow crafters and card makers!! I hope you’re having a wonderful week!! We’re getting lots of snow here in the Midwest, so I keep dreaming of spring by making pretty floral cards!!

First up is a card created using the Jumbo Daisy Layering Stencils

I began by ink blending Ballet Slippers, Hollywood Star and Cosmopolitan Pink inks for the petals of the Jumbo Daisy. I used Lemon Drop and Soft Garden inks for the center of the flower. I fussy cut the flower out, but there is a Coordinating Die available.

For the background, I stamped the Delicate Polka Dots Cling Stamp onto white cardstock with Hollywood Star ink. I die-cut the panel with the largest die in the Double Stitched Rectangle A2 Nested Die Set. The Rectangle A2 Frames Slim Borders Coverplate Die was cut from pink cardstock and the 2nd largest die was adhered to the background panel. The daisy was adhered and the excess was trimmed from the edge. The sentiment is from the Easy Expressions Birthday Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Cosmopolitan Pink and Noir inks, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with foam adhesive. A sprinkling of Deep Pink Rhinestones and some Nuvo Drops on the center of the flowers finished off the cards nicely and added a bit of shine.

My second card features the Jumbo Sunflower Layering Stencils. This one was created similar to the first one, only switching out the stencil set and the colors.

For this one I used Beach Blondie, Amber Citrine and Found Topaz for the petals. I used Aspen Cocoa, Dark Roast and Noir inks for the center. I also added some Black Nuvo Drops to the center of the sunflower for a little shine. As before, I fussy cut the sunflower, but there is a Coordinating Die available.

I used the Delicate Polka Dots Cling Stamp again for the background, using Amber Citrine ink. It was die-cut with the largest die in the Double Stitched Rectangle A2 Nested Die Set. The frame was cut from yellow cardstock using the Rectangle A2 Frames Slim Borders Coverplate Die. This sentiment is also from the Easy Expressions Birthday Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Amber Citrine and Noir inks, then cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. Rose Gold Rhinestones were the perfect finishing touch for this one!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!! Have a great Thursday!!

Brenda
