Rose Blossoms Layering Stencil

Hello, crafty friends! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a floral card featuring Rose Blossoms Layering Stencils. This 6” x 6” stencil set has six layers. I stenciled the image in pink, purple and blue. There is a coordinating die set which cuts the side borders of the stenciled image.

Let’s take a look at my card 🙂 !

I stenciled the pink roses in Bubblegum and Dolled Up, the purple flowers in Soft Amethyst and Iris Blooms and the small flowers were stenciled in Cali Blue.  For the leaves I used Soft Ash and Periwinkle. I added a bit of purple ink to the leaves. After the stenciling was done I cut the border using the coordinating die. I dry embossed the panel with the first layer of the rose stencil but it’s hard to see in the picture. The dry embossing created a nice smooth texture on the roses.

I chose a purple cardbse for my card and white heat embossed the Modern Plaid background on it. I added a strip of purple glitter tape on the right edge of the cardbase and foam mounted the stenciled image on it.

The sentiment was stamped using the Ribbons General stamp set in Iris Blooms and Violet Fringe. I cut it using the coordinating die and added it to the card using foam tape. The white heat embossed “Birthday” is also from the Ribbons General set.

To finish off I added a few clear and purple sequins from Lilac Blossoms Couture Mix

That’s it from me today! Hope you like my purple floral card! The Layering stencils are a great tool to get gorgeous images colored quick and easy in variety of color combos!

Thank you so much for looking!

Have a great week!
