Rose Blossoms Layering Stencil

Hello, crafty friends! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a floral card featuring Rose Blossoms Layering Stencils. This 6” x 6” stencil set has six layers. I stenciled the image in pink, purple and blue. There is a coordinating die set which cuts the side borders of the stenciled image.

Let’s take a look at my card 🙂 !

I stenciled the pink roses in Bubblegum and Dolled Up, the purple flowers in Soft Amethyst and Iris Blooms and the small flowers were stenciled in Cali Blue.  For the leaves I used Soft Ash and Periwinkle. I added a bit of purple ink to the leaves. After the stenciling was done I cut the border using the coordinating die. I dry embossed the panel with the first layer of the rose stencil but it’s hard to see in the picture. The dry embossing created a nice smooth texture on the roses.

I chose a purple cardbse for my card and white heat embossed the Modern Plaid background on it. I added a strip of purple glitter tape on the right edge of the cardbase and foam mounted the stenciled image on it.

The sentiment was stamped using the Ribbons General stamp set in Iris Blooms and Violet Fringe. I cut it using the coordinating die and added it to the card using foam tape. The white heat embossed “Birthday” is also from the Ribbons General set.

To finish off I added a few clear and purple sequins from Lilac Blossoms Couture Mix

That’s it from me today! Hope you like my purple floral card! The Layering stencils are a great tool to get gorgeous images colored quick and easy in variety of color combos!

Thank you so much for looking!

Have a great week!

Ribbons General Sentiments

Hello crafty friends! It’s TaeEun here today with a couple of purple cards I made using some new goodies from our 6th Anniversary Release focusing on the Ribbons General set. This grouped layering stamp set stamps six beautiful sentiments in two shades which can be cut with the coordinating die with only one pass through your die cutting machine!

The first card is also showing the Quilted A2 die from the 6th Anniversary Release.

To arrange my floral cluster I used the Grouped Fresh Peonies stamp set and Fancy Foliage set. I stamped the peony flowers in Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms and Grape Crush and the leaves in Soft Garden and Deep Emerald. I also stamped some gray Leaves from Fancy Foliage set in Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz. I cut them all using the coordinating dies and set them aside.

To create the background I watercolored a Canson mixed media panel in purple and cut it using the Quilted A2 die die and Scalloped Nested A2 die.  I foam mounted the background panel on a white cardbase and added the floral arrangement on it. The Ribbons General set was stamped in Iris Blooms and Violet Fringe and cut using the coordinating die. Some Dew Drop Clear Enamel Dots were my finishing touch for this card.

For the second card for today I used the beautiful Monarch Butterfly Coverplate die along with the Ribbons General sentiment.

To begin I watercolored a panel in purple and cerulean blue using Color Burst. I cut the Monarch Butterfly Coverplate from the panel. The background was also watercolored in gold and brown. I splattered dark brown watercolor on the background panel and mounted it flat on a white cardbase. The Monarch Butterfly Coverplate panel was then added using foam tape and the sentiment on it.

I decorated the sentiment with two branches from Fancy Foliage set which were gold heat embossed and colored in the same colors I used for the butterfly! To finish off I scattered some Light Blue Topaz Sparkling Clear sequins

That’s it from me for today! Hope you enjoyed looking my cards!

Thank you so much for stopping by 🙂 !
Have a happy day!
