Round Foliage Window

Hello and Happy Friday, crafty friends! Hope you’re all doing well! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a shaker birthday card which is showcasing the Round Foliage Window Layering Dies from our 6th Anniversary Release. It’s a lovely die set including four dies; two dies cut beautiful circle windows with foliage coming from the border, one die is for a stitched circle frame and the last one is a circle die.

I cut four pierced circles from white cardstock using Double Pierced Circle die. I cut the foliage windows from two of the circles aligning the windows. I ink blended the foliage of a die cut panel in Soft Garden and Bright Fern and one circle panel in Soft Garden, Iris Blooms and Bright Emerald for the background. I then splattered white opaque ink on both ink blended panels and set them aside to dry. I used small pink rhinestones to embellish the berries of the ink blended Foliage window panel.

Next I white heat embossed the sentiment from Ditsy Bits stamp set on the background panel and started assembling the shaker part. I foam mounted the ink blended foliage window panel and the white foliage window panel together after I adhered a clear acetate piece on the back of the window. I put the Winter Thaw Couture Mix as shaker elements on the background piece and adhered the circle panels with the shaker window on it.

I cut a circle frame from a white shimmer cardstock using the die included in the Round Foliage Window Layering Dies set and adhered it on the circle window.

To add a floral accent to my card I arranged a small bouquet using a flower from Floral Bits 2, a leaf from Rose of Sharon, the small flowers from Ditsy Bits and branches from Fancy Foliage set. They are all grouped layering stamp sets and cut using the coordinating dies.

The colors I used are listed below.

Thank you so much for looking! I hope you enjoyed my card and got some inspiration for your next crafting session!

Have a lovely day!

TaeEun
