Bubble Alphas Valentine Card

Happy Monday, friends!! I hope you had a great weekend!!

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and I have a card to share with you today that is perfect for the occasion!!

I began by stamping the Balloon Alphas and Smooched stamp sets onto white cardstock with Red Sangria and Valentine Red inks, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I also white heat embossed “Happy Valentine’s Day” from the XOXO Mini stamp set onto red cardstock and fussy cut it out.

For the background, I die-cut the A2 Quilted Coverplate Die from white cardstock and layered it over a panel of red cardstock. The Rectangle A2 Frames Slim Border Coverplate Die was cut from the same red cardstock and the second largest frame was layered over the die-cut background.

The lip die-cuts were adhered flat to the card panel, while the Balloon Alpha die-cuts and fussy cut sentiment were adhered with foam adhesive. I drew lines with a black marker from each die-cut for the balloon ribbons.
