Happy 2021

Hello, crafty friends!! I hope the new year is off to a great start for you!! We woke up New Year’s Day with ice on the ground and no power…ugh. It finally came back on around noon. Although it didn’t start out great, I still have high hopes that it will be better than 2020…ha!

I have a festive, slimline “happy 2021” card to share with you today!!

I began by die-cutting the background panel from black cardstock using the Slimline Star Coverplate Die. I embossed the top and bottom of the panel with a stamp from the Confetti Borders set and gold glitter embossing powder, then backed the panel with gold glitter paper.

For the sentiment, I gold heat embossed “happy” from the Poinsettia Wishes Stamp Set onto black cardstock and cut it out with the Many Sentiments (Holiday) Coverplate Dies. I also cut four more die-cuts from black cardstock and stacked them together for dimension. “2021” was die-cut from gold glitter paper once and black cardstock four times using the Tall & Skinny Numbers Coverplate Dies. After stacking and adhering them together, the numbers and “happy” die-cuts were adhered as shown.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Wishing you all the best in 2021!!!

Brenda
