Patriotic Donut

Hello everyone!! It’s Brenda here with you today!! I was going through my stash looking for products that haven’t gotten enough love from me lately & this Lavish Donut Cardbase Die caught my eye!! With tomorrow being the 4th of July, I thought it would be fun to create a donut in patriotic colors!!

How fun is this?? I used the Lavish Donut Cardbase Die, cut from heavyweight cardstock and folded on the score line. I stamped the frosting from Lavish Donuts and Unicorns Bundle in Azurite Ink. The “drizzle”was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with red sparkle embossing powder. The coffee cup, from the Tea Party Dies, was cut from red cardstock. Using the Lavish Donut Cardbase Die, I cut only the heart from blue glitter paper. The sentiment, also from the Lavish Donuts Unicorns Bundle was heat embossed in white onto vellum and then fussy cut. Some small red hearts from the Sugar Cookie Couture Mix add some “sprinkles” to the donut.
