Hi peeps. How’s thing going? Vera here. Today, I want to brighten your day with a lovely, bright, watercolor card using the beautiful Wildflower Banner set.
To make this card, I start by stamping the flower image on a piece of watercolor cardstock and heat embossed it using my all time favorite Rose Gold embossing powder. Once that done, I watercolor the image using Kuritake Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.
At first, I was going to color the background in just one color, but then I thought rainbow background would be more fun. 🙂 I keep the color soft so it doesn’t become too much.
Once the panel dry, I stamped the sentiment in Violet Fringe and adhere the panel to the card base. Added a strip of Gold foil paper. After all of this, I feel like the card stil missing something. So, I added a couple butterflies stamped from Beautiful Butterflies 1 set and cut using the coordinating dies. Finished by sprinkling some Meet Me in Maui sequins (I sooo love this name, cause I love Maui!)
Here’s a closer look at the flowers.
Hope you enjoy today’s card as much as I enjoy making it. Thank you all for stopping by here and don’t forget we have new challenge going on. You can find all the details & enter the challenge HERE. That’s all from me today. Wishing you all a beautiful day.
This card is so elegant. I love the colors used and the gold embossing.
