Lush Plants and Petite Planters

Hi everyone! It’s TaeEun here today with a set of cards I made using the Lush Plants and Petite Planters stamp sets from the Summer 2021 Release! To create the background I used Courtyard Stairs cling stamp and the Convention coverplate die

I started by stamping the plants and planters from the Lush Plants and Petite Planters stamp sets in Caviar hybrid ink on Bristol smooth paper panel. I colored them using Copic markers or Karin brush markers. So some of them are watercolored.
I cut all the images using the coordinating dies and set them aside.

The first card is featuring Courtyard Stairs cling stamp along with the plants.

I stamped the Courtyard Stairs in Stormy Sea on a watercolor paper panel. I stamped it again in an embossing ink and clear heat embossed the image. I then watercolored the background lightly and let the panel dry.

The background panel was mounted flat on a white cardbase and I arranged the plants on it as shown in the picture using foam tape.

The sentiment from Baroque Frame Oval stamp set was heat embossed in silver on some velum. I cut it with a circle die from the Double Pierced Circle die set. I also cut a white circle in a smaller size and adhered it on the back of the vellum. The sentiment was added to the card using foam tape. Some Glass Slippers sequins were the finishing touch for this card.

For the second card I die cut four Convention coverplates, stacked them all and adhered it on a white cardbase. I then added the plants on it as shown in the picture.

The sentiment from Easy Expressions Cheers set was stamped in Grape Crush and Noir and cut with the coordinating die. I finished off the card with some Glass Slippers Round Confetti sequins.

I love the cute plants especially because you can mix and match them as you want!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope my cards have inspired you today!

Wishing you all a wonderful week !

TaeEun
