Happy Birthday – Postage: Peony Fields Layering Stencil Set

Hello, fellow crafters and happy Wednesday!! Brenda here with a birthday card featuring the Postage: Peony Fields Layering Stencils, along with a couple of other postage goodies!!

I started by die-cutting the Postage Party Die from smooth white cardstock. I blended the following inks onto the panel using the Postage: Peony Fields Stencils: Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms, Grape Crush, Spring Salad, Beach Blondie and Amber Citrine.

The Postage Panel Die was cut from pale purple cardstock and it was adhered to the front of the stenciled panel. The second largest die in the Rectangle A2 Nested Die Set was cut from white cardstock and the largest of the Double Stitched Rectangle A2 Nested Dies was cut from purple cardstock. All the layers were adhered together with liquid glue.

The “happy birthday” sentiment is from the Fancy Script Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Grape Crush ink, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut another layer from purple cardstock and adhered it behind the stamped one, slightly offset, then popped it up with foam tape. A sprinkling of Light Purple Opaque Gems is the perfect finishing touch.

The perfect birthday card for a purple lover!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a great day!!

Brenda
