Congratulations – Peony Memories Layering Stencils

Happy Monday, crafters!! Brenda back with you today!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I have a floral “congratulations” card to share today featuring the Peony Memories Layering Stencil Set!! I love that Effie is releasing some of the previously released layering stamp sets as stencils!! I find stencils so much easier to line up!!

I began by stenciling the Peony Memories Layering Stencils onto white cardstock with Orchid Crush, Dolled Up, Pink Derby, Soft Garden, Spring Salad, Deep Emerald and Amber Citrine inks. I used the Coordinating Die to cut them out. The same die cuts out both the stencil and the stamps.

For the background, I die-cut the Diamond Quilted A2 Coverplate Die from white cardstock and blended some Cali Blue ink onto the center with a light hand. The Dome Frames Slim Borders Coverplate Die was die-cut from pale plum cardstock and the third largest die-cut was adhered to the background. The peonies and leaves were arranged and adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment, from the Script Notes Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Noir ink. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. I added some dots to the centers of the peonies with a white gel pen. A trio of Soft Pink Rhinestones around the sentiment and in the upper, left corner finish off the card.

That’s it for me today!! Have a wonderful week!!

Brenda
