Pair of Postage Party Christmas Cards

Happy Wednesday, crafty friends!! Brenda here with a pair of Christmas cards featuring some of the newest winter stencil additions that coordinate with the Postage Party Die!!

My first card features the Postage: Winter Birds Layering Stencil Set

I started by die-cutting the Postage Party Die from white cardstock. I stenciled the Postage: Winter Birds Layering Stencils onto the die-cut using Valentine Red, Crystal Pewter, Wine, Light Onyx, Noir, Coralline, Aspen Cocoa and Evergreen inks. I placed the Postage: Windows Stencil over the die-cut and lightly blended Cali Blue ink along the inner edges of each section.

I stamped some of the images in the Postage Seals and Not A Bill stamp sets onto the panel with Noir ink. A sentiment from the Script Holiday Notes Stamp Set was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. I die-cut a panel of red cardstock with the largest die in the Striped Edge Nested Die Set and adhered the Postage Party die-cut in the center. Lastly, I used a black glaze pen and a white gel pen to add some detail to the bird’s eyes.

My second card features the Postage: Bear Layering Stencils

I also began this card by die-cutting the Postage Party Die from white cardstock. I stenciled the Postage: Bear Layering Stencils onto it with Azurite, Valentine Red, Wine, Crystal Pewter, Coralline, Evergreen and Noir inks.

Sentiments and images from the Postage Seals and Postage: Christmas Sentiments stamp sets were stamped with Noir ink. It was adhered to a panel of red cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the Striped Edge Nested Die Set.

I stenciled the Postage Stripes Stencils onto a panel of white cardstock using Valentine Red and Azurite inks, then die-cut it with the largest die in the Rectangle A2 Nested Die Set. The postcard image from the Postcard Christmas Stamp Set was stamped with Caviar ink and the sentiment, from the same set, with Azurite ink. It was colored with Copic markers, then adhered to the back of the card above.

That does it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Brenda
