Hello, everyone! Anna is here. I really love to create cards with Santa images that were designed by Effie. And today I’m sharing a holiday card I made using Postage: Santa Layering Stencils.

I started by stenciling the main image with Bubblegum, Arctic Sky, Moonlight, Smoky Quartz (the deer, moon…), Raw Sea Glass, Soft Cream and Warm Hazelnut (skin tone), Cherry and Wine (Santa). Next, I cut postage stamp themed panel with a die from Holiday Border Dies using partial die cutting technique. But you can use Postage Party Die for easy way.

For the background, I stamped Diagonal Stripes Cling Background on the A2 sized sand cardstock panel and white heat embossed it. I stamped the sentiments using Easy Expressions Holiday stamp set with Noir (but “merry” and “snow” were glitter gold heat embossed) and cut them out with Easy Expressions Holiday Coordinating Die. To embellish the card, I added a few rhinestones from Rhinestones Mixed – Seafoam Opaque.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!
Anna

I really like the layout of the card a lot. I think it would be a great card
if it only had more traditional colors. For me its colors looked washed out and faded which to me takes away from the design of the card itself and the impact that the card can have.
I’d really like to see the same card w more vibrant colors.. that would be i’d like to pull out of an envelope and put on the mantel.
Thanks for the chance to see great designs!

I really like the layout of this card.
If it had more traditional bright colors, I would like it better. For me, the lighter colors make it look washed out and faded and loses the impact the card can have.
I’d love to see it in traditional colors and a bright red background frame.
Thanks for the lovely layouts for cards that you do!
