Hi all. Vera here. Am popping in to share a duo I made using the new Postage Daisies Layering Stencil set.

First, I die cut the postage block using Postage Party die. Since daisies always so colorful, I wanted to make colorful daisies for my postage. I simply use scrap paper to block the next postage block to prevent color bleeding. However I am not too concern if any color hit the next block a little bit. For my card above I used Soft Orchid, Orchid Crush, Deep Peony, Cali Blue, Cobalt Breeze, Beach Blondie, Amber Citrine, Spiced Chai & Spring Salad. Then I added the postage mark using Not A Bill set and finish with sentiments from Many Banners set.

I love the way the 1st card turned out, so I decided to make another one and this time I changed the color a bit and this time I used Soft Orchid, Orchid Crush, Deep Peony, Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms, Stormy Sea, Spiced Chai & Spring Salad.

I thought of making more, but I wasn’t in my super achiever mode. Hah! So, there you go, 2 pretty quick cards. This is why I love stencil! It helps speed up my card making time. I hope in my own little way today’s post inspire you to get creative & spend some time creating. Cheers….
Wowzers, these are GORGEOUS! I wish the USPS would make stamps that looked just like these!!
