Jumbo Hibiscus Gatefold Card

Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a great week so far. It’s TaeEun here today with a gatefold card. The Jumbo Hibiscus fills the whole front of the card, and the left gate showcases the Sun Rays Layered stencil with the hidden sentiment!

To start, I die cut a white cardstock using the Jumbo Hibiscus coordinating die and stenciled the flower on the Grip Mat. The Grip Mat is a great help when you cut the shape of the image first before you stencil, which makes aligning much easier.

To stencil the Jumbo Hibiscus in coral orange, I used Peach Blossom, Coralline hybrid, and Valentine Red. The stamen is in the third layer, which I inked in Coralline hybrid ink.

To keep the entire card in warm tone, I stenciled the leaves in brown using Warm Hazelnut and Found Topaz and cut them with the coordinating die

I folded the cardbase into the gatefold shape and stenciled the left flap using the Sun Rays Layered stencil in Valentine Red and Coralline hybrid ink.

I cut a white circle using a small die from the Circle Nested Dies set and adhered it to the center of the Sun Rays. On the right flap of the card, I arranged the Jumbo Hibiscus and the leaves as shown in the picture.

The sentiment is from the Easy Expressions Just Because set. I gold heat embossed the “hello” part and stamped the other part in Noir, then die cut it and added it to the left flap of the card using thin foam tape.

To finish off the card, I scattered a few Rose Gold Gems

Thank you so much for looking! I hope you enjoyed my post!

Have a great day!

TaeEun
