Pair of Stenciled Floral Cards

Hello, friends and happy Tuesday!! I hope your week started off well!! Brenda here with a pair of stenciled floral cards!! How do you feel about the 2024 Pantone color of the year…Peach Fuzz? I’m totally here for it!! Peach Blossom ink is a pretty close match, from what I can tell!! You know I LOVE my pinks, but this is a nice, fresh change!! Let’s get to my cards…

The first one features the Climbing Hibiscus Layering Stencil Set

I stenciled the Climbing Hibiscus Layering Stencils onto white cardstock with Peach Blossom, Coralline, Coral Cavern and Hot Tourmaline inks, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. I added some dots to the ends of the stamen with a yellow gel pen.

For the background, I die-cut the Geo Triangles Coverplate Die from white cardstock and layered it over a panel of peach cardstock. The hibiscus was adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment, Easy Expressions: Just Because Stamp Set, was stamped with Noir ink and gold heat embossed onto white cardstock. The Coordinating Die was used to cut it out and it was popped up with foam adhesive. I added some Pale Yellow Opaque Gems to finish it off and add a bit of sparkle.

My second card features the Lively Cosmos Layering Stencil Set

I used the same inks that I used on my hibiscus card, plus Vanilla Frosted Cupcake and Amber Citrine. I used a yellow gel pen to add dots to the center of the flowers, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.

This time, I used the Sand Dollar Coverplate Die for the background. It was also layered over a panel of peach cardstock. The cosmos die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue.

This sentiment is also from the Easy Expressions: Just Because Stamp Set. It was stamped with Noir ink, gold heat embossed, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam adhesive. The same Pale Yellow Opaque Gems draw your eye to the sentiment.

That’ll do it for me!! Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week!!

Brenda
