Peruvian Lilies

Hello everyone ! It’s TaeEun here today with a watercolored floral card! I’m back after my summer break 🙂 ! Hope you’re all doing well ❤ !

To jumpstart my crafting mojo I chose my favorite medium to color the flowers from the Coming Up Peruvian Lilies stamp set. Of course you can use the coordinating layering stencil set to color this adorable lilies, which is called Climbing Peruvian Lilies!

To begin I stamped the image with an embossing ink on a watercolor paper panel and heat embossed it in black. Then I watercolored the panel. First I loosely watercolored the whole panel including the image in the colors which I would use to color the flowers and leaves. For the flowers I used rose madder, scarlet red and lemon yellow and the leaves were colored in various shades of green. After I was done with the watercoloring I let the panel dry and splattered black ink on it, mainly on the background. Next I cut the image using the coordinating die.

To add some interest to the background I die cut the background part of the panel with the Quilted A2 die and mounted it flat on a white cardbase. I then foam mounted the lily image to its place.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was heat embossed in white on a piece of black cardstock and cut using the coordinating die. To finish off I added some Bright Green Opaque and Pale Orange Opaque rhinestones to the card.

That’s it from me! Hope I was able to inspire you with my card today!

Thank you so much!

TaeEun
