Climbing Roses

Hi peeps. Vera here. Today, I am sharing a card featuring one of my favorite color combo blurple. Hah, that’s what I like to call the blue purple combo. For this combo, I am using the gorgeous Climbing Roses Layering Stencil.

This is one of those card that in my opinion looks quite fancy but it’s quick and easy at the same time. Simply by using the layering stencil, I ink blended Parisian Blue, Iris Bloom, Matcha & Meadow. Once done, I die cut the stenciled image with Climbing Roses Coordinating die. To make the image stand out a bit more, instead of foam adhesive, I run the die cut a couple more time to layered them. Then adhere the whole piece to the card base.

For the sentiment I die cut from black cardstock the letter from Modern Alphas Coverplate Die set to create the word Hugs. Finish by adding the sentiment Thinking of You. And, I’d tell you which set this came from, except that I lost the post-it-note where I have written the set name & I am writing this on the eleventh hour. 🙂 So, I apologize for this oversight. But, you know how it goes, you could use any sentiment set that’s already in your stash.

Peeps, that’s all I have for today. I hope you enjoy my blurple card and as always, thank you for your continuing support for The Ton. Thanks for taking the time to visit here. Cheers.
