Rose Blossoms Birthday Card

Hello, crafty friends!! I hope this finds you all doing well!!

I’m on a mission to stock up my birthday card stash!! I was in the mood for a little stenciling, so I pulled out the Rose Blossoms Layering Stencil Set!! I just LOVE all of the layers to this set and the endless color combinations that you can come up with!!

I began by using blending brushes to stencil the Rose Blossoms Layering Stencils onto white cardstock with Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink, Peach Blossom, Coralline, Beach Blondie, Soft Garden and Bright Fern inks. I die-cut the stenciled panel with the largest die in the Double Stitched Rectangle A2 Nested Dies, then adhered it to a white, top-folding card base. The Rectangle A2 Frames Slim Borders Coverplate was cut from coordinating pink cardstock and third largest frame was adhered to the front of the card.

For the sentiment, the Ribbons General Stamp Set was stamped with Peach Blossom and Coralline inks, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. “Birthday”, also from the Ribbons General set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Coralline Ink and cut into a narrow strip. Both the die-cut sentiment and sentiment strip were popped up with foam adhesive. A sprinkling of Sittin’ Pretty Sequins finishes off the card.

I really love this color combo!! It sure makes me long for spring!!

Thanks so much for stopping in today!! I do appreciate it!! Have a great Wednesday!!

Brenda
