Happy Holidays – Festive Folk Tree

Hey, friends!! Happy hump day!! I hope you’re having a great week!!

I have a holiday card to share with you today featuring a die from the Festive Folk Tree Layering Coverplate Dies!!

I began by die-cutting one of the dies from the Festive Folk Tree Layering Coverplate Dies from green and white cardstock. I layered the die-cut background panel over a panel of silver glitter cardstock and adhered it to a white, top-folding card base.

I blended Spring Salad and Everglade Moss inks onto the green die-cut tree with a blending brush. The tree die in the same set was used to cut a solid tree once from silver glitter cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The trees were all adhered together and popped into the negative area of the background panel.

For the sentiment, I stamped the Ribbons Holiday Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Spring Salad and Everglade Moss inks, then cut the sentiments out with the Coordinating Die. “Happy” was stamped with Everglade Moss Ink and cut into a thin strip. The “Holidays” die-cut sentiment and “happy” strip were both adhered with a combination of liquid and foam adhesive.

I know it’s difficult to see in the photos, but the glitter cardstock shows through the pierced areas on the tree and background…it’s really beautiful and festive!!

Thank you so much for spending a bit of time with me today!! Have a great Wednesday!!

Brenda
