Autumn Cards

Hey friends!! I hope you are all doing well!! I absolutely LOVE the deep, rich colors of fall, but I’m not ready for summer to end yet!! It’s in the 90s all week in the Midwest, so it doesn’t look like it’s coming to an end anytime soon. However, I’m ready for fall in my craft room and cardmaking!!

I have two cards to share with you today!! The first uses the Rose Blossoms Layering Stencils and Coordinating Dies.

I began by ink blending the Rose Blossoms Layering Stencils onto a panel of Bristol cardstock using Peach Blossom, Coralline, Cherry, Wine, Amber Citrine and Matcha inks. I die-cut one side of the panel with the Rose Blossoms Coordinating Dies and adhered it to a panel of deep orange cardstock.

For the sentiment, I stamped the Ribbon General Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Peach Blossom and Coralline inks, then cut the sentiments out with the Coordinating Die. The sub-sentiment was stamped onto a white cardstock strip with Coralline Ink. Both the die-cut “thanks” and strip were popped up with foam adhesive.

My second card features the Autumn Coloring Bits

For this one, I began by stamping the images from the Autumn Coloring Bits Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Caviar Ink. After coloring them with Copics, I cut them out with the Coordinating Die.

For the background, I used the Grid A2 Coverplate Die for die-cut a panel of white cardstock, then adhered it to a white card base. The autumn die-cuts were arranged, glued together and popped up with foam tape.

The sentiment is from the Fall Bouquet Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Noir and Corraline inks, then die-cut with the Coordinating Die and cut into a narrow strip. I also die-cut the thankful die two more times from white cardstock and adhered them behind the stamped one for dimension. The sentiment was adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape. Finally, I added a few Dew Drop Clear Enamel Dots for a little shine.

That’s it!! How about you? Are you ready for fall or you more of a summer girl like me?

Thanks for dropping by!! Have a wonderful day!!

Brenda
