Sending Hugs – Gladiola Cheer

Hello, crafty friends and happy Monday!! I hope you had a great weekend!!

I have a card to share with you today featuring the stunning Gladiola Cheer Stamp Set!!

I began by stamping the the florals in the Gladiola Cheer Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Soft Cream Ink. This ink is the perfect color for no-line coloring!! After coloring the image with Copics, I cut it out with the Coordinating Die.

For the background, I freehanded lines onto Bristol cardstock with Karin Brush Marker Pro markers and blended them out with a damp paint brush. I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to a white top-folding note card.

I die-cut the Double Stitched Rectangle A2 Coverplate Die from white cardstock. The second largest frame was popped up with foam adhesive, along with the gladiolus bouquet, then I trimmed away the excess. The sentiment, also from the Gladiola Cheer Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto a black cardstock strip. It was adhered with a combination of foam tape and liquid adhesive. A sprinkling of Glass Slippers Confetti adds a little shine!!

I also stamped an envelope using the Rose Pretty Mail Stamp Set and Vanilla Frosted Cupcake Ink.

It just makes a card that much more special when it’s sent in a beautiful envelope, don’t you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I certainly appreciate it!! Have a great week!!

Brenda
