Holiday card with golden accents

Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a great week so far ! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a holiday card I made using some of our new dies from October Release and holiday themed grouped layering stamp sets.

I started by making the golden panel which was dry embossed using the Holiday Border Dies. The gold mirror cardstock looked like real metal after dry embossing!

I then cut the letters for merry using the Bold Alphas Lower dies from some heavyweight white cardstock and heat embossed the lower 1/3 of them in gold.

To embellish my card with some christmas-y bouquets I used some berries and winter foliage from Winter Foliage, Berry Branches, Berry Bits and Pine Cones grouped layering stamp sets.

The leaves were stamped in Soft GardenBright Fern, Caribbean Turquoise and Ocean Teal and the berries were stamped in Lipstick Red and Pink Derby. For the Pine Cone I used the Cocoa collection

I cut the Pine Sprigs from some white cardstock using the Pine Sprig die and ink blended them in Soft GardenBright Fern, Caribbean Turquoise and Basil Mojito

I then started assembling the card. First I arranged the pine sprig and pine cone and berry bits on the top part of a beige cardbase and foam mounted the golden panel on the lower half of the cardbase. I aligned the letters and added them to the card using foam tape. I then added the holiday bouquet on the lower right corner and the small leafy embellishment on the letter “m”. I added red rhinestones to the bouquet.

The sentiment is from Winter Foliage stamp set. I white heat embossed the “& BRIGHT” on a piece of green cardstock and inked  it with Deep Emerald to get an ombre strip.

That’s it from me for today! Hope you enjoyed looking my holiday card!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Have a crafty day!
