Hello and happy Friday everyone!!! It’s TaeEun here today! It’s been so long since I posted on The Season last time! I moved to Germany from USA in this Summer and it took much longer than I thought. Now I’m back and happy to be able to craft again :)!

Today I have two floral cards to share with you I made using one of our new release products called Gardenia Wishes. It contains a large cluster of Gardenia flowers and a smaller branch. Just Gorgeous!!!

My first card is a one layer creation. I wanted a roughly watercolored look but it didn’t turn out as I wanted. I like the result though :).

To start off I stamped the floral cluster from Gardenia Wishes on some watercolor paper. I scribbled Spectrum Aqua markers on the stamp, sprayed a little bit of water on it and stamped. I used MISTI tool to repeat the stamping process until I was happy with the result.

I then colored the image using Spectrum Aqua markers and a waterbrush. I added a little bit depth using Polychromos colored pencils. I splattered green and white watercolor on the image and let it dry.

The sentiment is also from Gardenia Wishes . I stamped it in Noir on the colored panel and clear heat embossed it. I then cut the panel using Double Stitched Rectangle die and mounted it on a white cardbase. I finished off the card by embellishing it using clear Dew Drops.

My second card is featuring the new Trophy stamp set along with Gardenia Wishes.

I started off by white heat embossing the floral cluster of Gardenia Wishes on some watercolor paper. I then colored it with Color Burst powder in yellow and orange.

The first layer of the Trophy was stamped in Beach Blondie. The second layer was heat embossed in gold and the third in Bronze. The bottom of the trophy was stamped in Found Topaz and Aspen Cocoa. I fussy cut the trophy and added the “the best friend” sentiment on it. The sentiment is heat embossed in bronze.

I cut the floral panel withDouble Stitched Rectangle die, mounted it on a white cardbase and foam mounted the trophy on it. I gold heat embossed a small banner from City Girls Park Life set and cut it using the coordinating die. I stamped “you are” from Brushed Love set on the banner in Aspen Cocoa and adhered it on the trophy using some foam tape. Some Medallion Gold sequins were my finishing touch.
