Hi peps! How’s it going? Phew… can you believe it’s May already? I feel like we just celebrated New Year!! Well, with May on our door that means lots of flowers blooming all around. So, for today, I am sharing a card using my current favorite set from The Ton.
For this card, I used Nesting Peonies set. I stamped the image with Caviar ink pad, colored it with Copic and then die cut it with the matching Nesting Peonies dies. I didn’t want to use the whole image, so after I die cut it, I trim the extra part that’s not needed.
Adhere the image to the card base with pop dots. Next, I work on the sentiment. I die cut the word Hugs from Peony Laurel dies set and color it with Copic. Then I adhere it to the card and stamp the word “sending” from Peony Laurel stamp set.
Now, wait… I am not finished. Hah… here’s a surprise inside!! Let’s open it andddd …..
Taadaaaa…..
Yep, inside I decorate the card with the Pop Up Peony!! Eeepss…. I was so excited to try out this dies. I used the thinner cardstock and on hindsight I probably will use thick printer paper instead so it won’t be as bulky when I close the card.
Well peeps, that’s all from me for today. This week I am down with a cold, so, lots of resting needed. And, I have a big trip coming up to meet with my family and I want to get better before the trip. 🙂 Thank you all for stopping by here and may your Friday be an awesome one. Cheers….
I think printer paper is the way to do. I used light cardstock and it is still bulky, but I love this!
