For my first card, I used our Sweet Folk Hummingbird set and Bold General Greetings Die Word Plates.
I started off by rose gold heat embossing the tulip cluster from our Sweet Folk Hummingbird set at the top and bottom edges of my watercolor paper. For the bird, I stamped on a separate piece of watercolor paper. Then I gave my florals a base layer of color using my Color Bursts (Marigold and Lemon Yellow). I detailed my tulips with my zig markers (Geranium Red, Scarlet Red and Bright Yellow). I also added a blue outline to my florals using some Ultramarine Blue Color bursts. For my hummingbird, I quickly colored this little guy with my zig markers (May Green, Geranium Red and Dark Brown).
Next I die cut my watercolored panel using the largest die from our Double Stitched Rectangles (Small) set. I also die cut my hummingbird at the same time. Next, I die cut my sentiment with my “hello” word plate and then blended some Bright Fern Dye Ink to the bottom half of the word. Finally, I assembled my card by adhering my painted panel onto a side folding A2 base. Then I popped up my sentiment, sentiment strip (white heat embossed onto black cardstock – sentiment is from Sweet Folk Hummingbird) and bird. Lastly, I added our Clear Rhinestones around my sentiment.

My next card was VERY easy to make! I simply stamped our Riotous Wildflowers background stamp onto cardstock, colored it in using zig markers (no special shading), stamped the sentiment from our Seriously Amazing Sentiment set (Noir Dye Ink), added stitching to the edges of the panel and adhered it onto a base. Done!

For my last card, I used our Painted Peonies. I stamped out two of the clusters in the corners of an A2 cardstock panel (I saved this panel for the next step). I used our Cali Blue, Cobalt Breeze and Parisian Blue Dye Ink. For the leaves, I used Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz. Then I die cut both clusters using the coordinating die.
Next I blended the corner edges of the panel using our Caribbean Turquoise Dye Ink. Then I blended some of our Noir Dye Ink with water and splattered a bit of the ink onto my blended die cut panel. Once the panel was dry, I adhered it onto a side folding A2 base. Then I popped up my clusters in their respective negative areas on the base (this way you use the positive and negative spaces of the cardstock while stamping leaving no waste or scraps!).
For my sentiment, I started off my heat embossing a portion of a piece of black cardstock using silver glitter embossing powder. Then I die cut my hello word plate from this panel but I made sure that the embossed portion covered only half of my sentiment. Next I popped up my glittery, two toned sentiment onto the middle portion of my card. Lastly, I embellished my card using our Silver Dew Drops.

I hope you all liked my cards! Be sure to join us back here tomorrow (and everyday until January 26) to continue celebrating our Third Anniversary!

Beautiful coloring, as always. I think my favorite might be the one with the hummingbird, because you managed to pull off blue and orange together. I know they’re complementary colors, but I live Broncos football territory, and so I find it really hard to pull off the blue/orange combo without it having heavy sports overtones. I really appreciate seeing you do it so well!
