I made four cards for today’s mini hop!
For my first two cards, I used our layered cluster Painted Peonies set.
My first card is probably the simplest card that I’ve made for this release. I simply stamped the cluster layers in using our Ruby and Crystal Garden (Soft Garden + Bright) Collection layering inks and then stamped the sentiment in our Noir Dye Ink. Voila! Easy, CAS and effortlessly gorgeous card DONE!
For my next card, I stamped my Painted Peony cluster in the same inks as my previous card.
After I stamped the cluster, I die cut the entire image using the coordinating die. Next I stamped my Buildable Woodgrain background using our Cocoa Collection layering inks. Then I die cut a stitched border from my woodgrain panel using the first and second largest dies from our Double Stitched Rectangles Die Set (large). I adhered the inner panel directly onto a side folding A2 base and popped up the border.
Next I took a panel that I created from our Glossy Fine Glitter Gold adhesive paper and third largest die from our Double Stitched Rectangles Die Set (small) and adhered this to the center of my woodgrain panel. Next I popped up my Painted Peonies cluster onto the glitter piece and then added my sentiment (from our Coming Up Daisies set) strip right on top of the cluster. Lastly, I embellished my card using our Clear Dew Drops.
For my next card, I used our Haute Gala Dress set again! I couldn’t stay away! This time I went in a totally different direction from yesterday’s projects. For today, I created an actual scene using our Autumn Wishes set (which has adorable bird images and gorgeous branch clusters). I went for a Cinderella-like theme for this card. I probably should have colored her dress in blue but I had already heat embossed the image at this point. Also, by not coming in the dress, I kept this card fairly CAS.
I started off by stamping the dress image onto regular cardstock in our Noir Dye Ink. Then I immediately heat embossed the dress details using gold glitter embossing powder. Next, I colored in the image using zig markers (Flesh Color, Blush, Brown). Then I die cut the image using the coordinating die.
Then I stamped the large leaf cluster and birds from our Autumn Wishes set on cardstock with our Noir Dye Ink. I also colored these images in with zig markers (May Green, Geranium Red, Green Shadow, Oatmeal, Haze Blue and Deep Green). Once colored, I die cut the cluster and birds. Then I stamped our City Buildings background stamp on cardstock using our Light Onyx Dye Ink.
Then I assembled my card by popping up my Haute Gala gal onto the City Buildings panel. Then I popped up the cluster and the birds around my gal. I made sure to adhere one of the birds on the gal giving this card a hint of whimsy. Lastly, I tamped the sentiment onto black cardstock using our Hampton White Pigment Ink and popped it up onto my card.
For my last card, I used our Fresh Cut Daisies Coordinating Outlines set.
I started off by heat embossing the entire sheet of stamps using our Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I also stamped three stems in the vase. Then I watercolored the images using Color Burst watercolor powders. For the daisies, I used a combination of Marigold and Gamboge. For the leaves, I used Sap Green, Lime Green and Terre Vert. For the jar/vase, I used Ultramarine Blue.
Once I finished painting the images, I die cut everything using the coordinating dies. Next I I created my watercolored background on watercolor paper (Canson XL 140LB) using a combination of Prussian Blue and Indigo and black for the base.
Once my panel was dry (I expedited the drying process with my heat tool), I assembled the florals and jar. Next I stamped and popped up the sentiment (stamped in our Hampton White Pigment ink on black cardstock). Lastly, I added our Clear Dew Drops as embellishments.
I hope you all liked my cards! Be sure to join us back here tomorrow (and everyday until January 26) to continue celebrating our Third Anniversary!

I am racing to get caught up, and blown away by this release. All of your design team examples are just amazing. I am finding myself drawn to images that usually don’t necessarily appeal to me. I am typically most drawn to florals, and these are winners. And, I love the fonts on all of the sentiments. Very well done. thank you
