Hello everyone! Hope you had a happy holiday blessed with family and friends!
TaeEun here today with a shaker card which I hope could bring you good cheer for the new year 🙂 ! I used the bold Brushed Cheers, Floral World and Pyrotechnics stamps for this card. Let’s take a look at the card!
To start off I stamped the Floral World using Spectrum aqua markers and Misti tool on a watercolor cardstock. I used various colors to stamp the flowers and greenery on the map. I then took blue and green Zig brush markers to color the ocean. After the panel was dry, I stamped some fireworks from Pyrotechnics stamp set in embossing ink and heat embossed it in silver and in rose gold using our Rose Gold embossing powder. I adhered the panel on a A2 sized card base and glued some sequins from Glass Slippers and Midnight Frost Couture Mix on that.
For the shaker window I silver heat embossed the Brushed Cheers on a clear acetate sheet and made a frame from a white shimmery cardstock using our Double stitched rectangle dies. I adhered the frame to acetate and assembled the shaker card. I used Midnight Frost Couture Mix as my shaker elements.
That’s it from me today and it was my last post in 2016. I want to say big thanks to everyone who stopped by and left lovely and encouraging comments !!!
Wishing you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
TaeEun
This is a really beautiful New Year’s card TaeEun and I love the three different stamps you have used, and what a great idea to make it like a map with tbe pretty blue sea and the added shaker element finishes it perfectly. Wishing you a very happy, healthy and creative New Year. x

I like making shaker cards, but I really like this one. I never thought about using water soluble paper. Yôu wrote the instructions so they even a beginner card maker could follow and end up making a beautiful card! I can’t wait to see what you do in 2017 . Keep up the good work!
