So Suzy Stamps Surprise Birthday Blog Hop + Giveaway

sosuzybh

Hello and welcome to our stop on Suzy’s Birthday Blog Hop!  I’m so excited to be a part of today’s hop because Suzy is a great friend of mine.

For my birthday card to Suzy, I created a one layer, springy and bright card using our Brushed Cheers and Fresh Cut Garden Rose stamp set.

I started off by stamping the large cheers sentiment in our Valentine Red Dye Ink onto a top folding A2 sized cardbase.  Then I stamped the rest of the sentiment from the same Brushed Cheers set in our Noir Dye Ink.  I added some glitter to the large Cheers sentiment using some clear wink of stella.

Next I stamped some some three layer roses and foliage near the bottom edge of my card base using our Ruby and Crystal Garden Collection Inks. I stamped additional roses and foliage and then die cut them using the coordinating dies. I arranged and popped them up at the bottom edge of the card base. I made sure to leave some of the background roses visible for additional depth.

Cheers for a New Year

Hello and Welcome! This is LauraJane today sharing a simple one layer card using the lovely vessels from several floral sets. I am collector of all things shiny, a true magpie at heart. The vases from the Fresh Cut series stamps are each unique in shape and texture.Definitely worth collecting and stamping on their own!

I also wanted to use the new color of the year as chosen by Pantone:Greenery. The Ton’s many shades of couture inks fit right in with the color trends of the year.

img_3294aFor today’s card I used Three vases; one from each of these sets:

Hello everyone! Hope you had a happy holiday blessed with family and friends!

TaeEun here today with a shaker card which I hope could bring you good cheer for the new year 🙂 ! I used the bold Brushed Cheers, Floral World and Pyrotechnics stamps for this card. Let’s take a look at the card!

To start off I stamped the Floral World using Spectrum aqua markers and Misti tool on a watercolor cardstock. I used various colors to stamp the flowers and greenery on the map. I then took blue and green Zig brush markers to color the ocean. After the panel was dry, I stamped some fireworks from Pyrotechnics stamp set in embossing ink and heat embossed it in silver and in rose gold using our Rose Gold embossing powder. I adhered the panel on a A2 sized card base and glued some sequins from Glass Slippers and Midnight Frost Couture Mix on that.

For the shaker window I silver heat embossed the Brushed Cheers on a clear acetate sheet and made a frame from a white shimmery cardstock using our Double stitched rectangle dies. I adhered the frame to acetate and assembled the shaker card. I used Midnight Frost Couture Mix as my shaker elements.
