Epitome of Grace

Hi there. Vera here today for the midweek take over of the Ton blog.

I’ve been away for a much needed vacation time with hubby to Portland, Oregon and it really took me a while to get back on the swing of creating. As always, when I am stuck I reached for my favorite sets.

This time, I went for the beautiful Lucky Tulip, inspired by my recent visit to Portland Rose Garden. Granted, it was rose garden, but for my card, I was feeling the tulip. Hah!

I first stamped the tulip directly on the card panel, then stamped the image again on a piece of scrap paper to use it for masking. Placing the mask on the first bloom, I stamped the tulip once again, then I went to town coloring with copic markers.

On the card base, I adhere a strip of the thin gold glitter tape on the bottom. Once that done, I trimmed the card panel and adhere it to  the card base. Finished with sentiment from Graceful Rose and some sprinkle of the beautiful Fairy Pink Sparkling Clear sequins.

CAS card tend to make my heart happy, just like this card. I hope you like it, too. That’s all from me today. It’s a short take over. Hah. Hope you have a fabulous hump day! Cheers…

Vera
