Simple Florals Thank You

Good morning!  Jessica here with a watercolored card featuring flowers from Simple Florals and greenery from Wild Peonies! To create the card I put the largest flower stamp from Simple Florals on an acrylic block and colored it with an Abandoned Coral distress ink marker.  I stamped it onto watercolor paper and then used a barely damp brush to blend out the hard lines.  I repeated the process with the smaller flowers with a Ripe Persimmon distress ink marker.  After the flowers were dry I repeated the process with the greenery from Wild Peonies using Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn distress ink markers.

Next I stamped the sentiment from Thanks a Bunch with Versafine Onyx Black pigment ink and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Then I added a sprinkling of Medallion Gold sequins in different sizes.  To finish the card I trimmed the watercolor panel down and added a frame of orange cardstock before adhering it to a white cardbase.

I love the softness that the water adds to the flowers…it creates interesting shadows and dimension and no two cards will ever be the same.  Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous week!

-Jess
