Pragmatic Wreath & Chandelier

Hi peeps! Happy Tuesday. Vera here to bring you some purple inspiration.

I really find it ironic how lately it seems I am doing more and more stuff that I used to think intimidating. Would you believe it that I used to dread working with flower stamps? Hah!! Yep, yours truly used to find flower stamps are hard to work with.

Another thing I used to not liking? Using the color purple. But, in this past year that definitely change. I noticed that I used the color purple more and more. Especially the soft  purple hue. Still considering dark purple as a challenge.

Anyway, today’s card is another proof of my affair with the color purple. 🙂

When I started this card, I actually had no plan to use the color purple. I just know I want to use Pragmatic Wreath set and The Ton Blue Diamond ink pad for the leaves. Once that done, my tendency for combining unusual color combo came up. After debating between peach or purple, I reached for Soft Amethyst.

I added some shadow detail to the flower bud with Copic. Then, I wanted to show some love for Fresh Cut Garden Roses Outlines set, so I used this set to complement the wreath.

I keep  the card design clean. Simply added a slanted stirp of patterned paper to anchor the flower and the wreath. Finished by stamping the sentiment & sprinkling some sequins from Amethyst Quartz Couture Mix.

Well, I was on a roll in creating this past weekend, so I ended up with 2 cards for today. No rhyme or reason and they’re completely different cards. I just had fun playing and made this card.

For this one, I used Chandelier set along with it’s coordinating dies. Isn’t this set is so elegant? To create the watercolor background, I used Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (by the way, if you want to give them a try and not ready to buy a whole set, you can buy them individually at The Ton Boutique). Then simply add the chandelier and some Glass Slipper sequins.

I hope you enjoy today’s cards. And, sure hope you will also play along with the current The Ton Challenge. It’s a fun one. 🙂 Well peeps, that’s all from me today. Thank you for stopping by  here and may your day be a fabulous one.

May Challenge Tic Tac Toe
