Hello! Rubeena here with another shaker card for you! One can’t make enough! The Ton carries such an amazing variety of gilding so I wanted to show you how I used the stars and some of the beads. If you’ve been following me on social media, I’d love for you to check out the tutorial I had on the popular shaker card I created.

To begin, I watercolored Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock using Kuretake Gansai Tambi with the following colors: No. 91, 64, 66, 139, and 37. After it was dry, I die-cut it with a horizontal stripes cover plate die. I also die-cut white foam since I am going to make a shaker card and removed the inner rectangles. Using Scor-Tape, I taped down the foam to a white A2 cardbase. I glued the inner rectangle pieces between the foam spaces with Glossy Accents. I attached a piece of Dura-Lar film / acetate alternate behind the watercolored die-cut.

Check out that metallic gold color! Now I can fill the card with gilding. I filled each space with stars and beads in colors that matched one another and the watercolors. Once they were filled, I carefully added more Scor-Tape behind the front panel and taped it down over the foam.

I stamped the sentiment from Heart Diamonds on white cardstock using VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder. I fussy cut around it and added silver thread and foam tape behind it. I taped it down on the card to finish it off.
