Hello – Rose Labels

Hello, crafty friends and happy Wednesday!! I don’t know about you, but once I’m finished with Christmas cards, I can’t wait to use colors other than red & green!! Although I do use a lot of untraditional colors for holiday cards, I just crave something totally different!

For today’s card, I decided to combine some ink colors that I don’t think I’ve ever used together before.

I began by stamping the Rose Labels Grouped Layering Stamp Set with Orchid Crush, Plum Wine & Grape Crush on the roses, Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Lemon Drop & Found Topaz on the smaller flowers and Bright Fern & Deep Emerald on the leaves. I cut them out with the Rose Labels Coordinating Dies. The Ribbons General sentiment was stamped with Orchid Crush and Plum Wine, then cut out with its Coordinating Die. I also die-cut two more layers from white cardstock and stacked them behind the stamped one for dimension.

For the background, I die-cut the Quilted A2 Coverplate Die from white cardstock and layered it over a panel of plum cardstock, then adhered it to a white, top-folding card base. The roses, flowers and leaves were arranged, picked up with Press ‘N Seal, adhered together, then added to the front of the card with foam adhesive. The die-cut sentiment was adhered with liquid adhesive. A few Glass Slippers Sequins were sprinkled on for a little shine.

Well, that’s it for me today!! I appreciate you taking the time to stop by!! Have a very happy holiday and best wishes in the new year!!

Brenda
