Let It Snow Berry Branches

Hello, crafty friends and happy Wednesday!! I hope you’re having a great week!! I can’t believe it’s the last day of September!!

You’ll have to excuse me…while I’m enjoying the fall season and colors, I’m also trying to get a jump on my holiday cards! So, I may jump around from fall to winter and Christmas quite often…ha! That being said, I have a winter card to share with you today!!

I began by stamping the Berry Branches Layering Stamps with the following ink colors: Soft Garnet, Red Sangria, Lipstick Red, Found Topaz & Aspen Cocoa. I die-cut them out with the Berry Branches Coordinating Dies, then went to work on my background.

I pictured these branches on a background of falling snow, so I die-cut a panel of pale blue cardstock with the Slimline Dot Coverplate Die. I ink- blended Parisian Blue and Azurite inks onto my die-cut panel, leaving a lighter space in the middle and adding the darker ink out toward the edges. I adhered the panel to a white slimline card base and adhered the branches to it with liquid adhesive.

For the sentiment, I stamped “let it snow” onto white cardstock with Parisian Blue ink using a stamp in the Poinsettia Wishes stamp set. I die-cut it out with the Many Sentiments Holiday Coverplate Dies. I also die-cut it two more times from white cardstock, stacked and adhered them together, then added it to the center of my card. I added some shine to the berries with a shimmer pen and called it done!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! What about you…do you concentrate on one holiday or season at a time, or do you hop around like I do?

Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you soon!!

Brenda
