Palatial Peonies

Hi there crafty friends. Vera here as we closed out the month of April. Today, I am showcasing the gorgeous Palatial Peonies Layering Stencil.

To start, I inked up the stencil using Deep Peony and Coralline for the flowers. Ocean Teal and Basil Mojito for the leaves. For the background between the flowers I used Moonlight. If it looked like I used more colors, it simply because I used different pressure when I blended the colors. For the upper layer I simply inked up the the stencil heavier.

Once I am done with the coloring, I die cut the panel using the largest Postage Nested Dies. I added hot pink cardstock to the card base before adding the postage panel. The finish by adding sentiment from Rose Labels set and some mix size enamel drops.

I honestly not quite sure whether I really like the way this card turned out. It just feels a bit off for me. But, I’ve been struggling with bad allergies. And, I don’t feel like my mojo to craft is quite there at the moment. Anyway, I hope you still enjoy the card. Till next time, friends.
