Hello, crafters and happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! Brenda here with a card featuring the Climbing Daisies Layering Stencils with the Postage Party Die!! I love combining the Postage Party Die with a larger stencil set!!

I started by die-cutting the Postage Party Die from smooth white cardstock. I added the Postage: Windows Stencil over the die-cut, then stenciled the Climbing Daisies Layering Stencils over it using Beach Blondie, Amber Citrine, Found Topaz, Peach Blossom, Coralline, Coral Cavern and Spring Salad inks. After all the layers were complete, I removed the final layering stencil then added a bit of Raw Sea Glass ink around the outside of each postage stamp opening in the Postage: Windows Stencil, being sure not to blend into the daisies. After removing the Postage: Windows Stencil, the images from the Postage: Sentiments and Not A Bill stamp sets were stamped with Noir ink.

The background, from the Daisy Fields Stamp Set, was stamped onto pale yellow cardstock with Amber Citrine ink. It was die-cut with the largest die in the Double Pierced Rectangle A2 Die Set. The postage panel was adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment is from the Easy Expressions: Birthday Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Noir and Amber Citrine inks, then cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. A sprinkling of Rose Gold Rhinestone Gems accents the sentiment and finishes off the card.

That’s it for me today!! Have a wonderful week!!
so lovely!!

Hi Brenda!
I’m just a little confused about today’s card- and maybe i just misread something. How did you manage to keep the white borders around each of the stamps as you were stenciling? Did you “stack” the Windows stencil with whichever of the daisy stencils you were blending? And if so, how did you secure the 2 so nothing moved?
Thanks!
Tom

Hi Tom! So sorry for the confusion!! I did add the Postage: Windows Stencil before stenciling the Climbing Daisies Stencils on top of it. (I edited the blog post to reflect that…thank you!) I simply added tape to the back of the cardstock to secure the stencils. Hope this helps! If you have any further questions, please let me know!
