Hi friends. Vera here to start your week with a crafty inspiration from The Ton. As I mentioned on my previous post here, I love the way the background look on my last card, so I want to show case it again, except this time am using Climbing Rose Layering Stencil.

To start I lay the stencil directly on the card base at an angle on the rights side and inked it up with Deep Peony, Irish Blooms, Beach Blondie, Coralline Hybrid, and Soft Garden  . Once that done, i moved the stencil and again lay it at an angle, this time on the left side of the card. With this card, I wanted to highlight how one layer card doesn’t have to be boring.

For the sentiment, I used a sentiment set that I believe came out either on the 1st year or 2nd year of The Ton. It’s been discontinued, but pretty much you know the rule, you can use any sentiment set. BTW, yep, I still keep many of old sets from The Ton because I genuinely love them. Am pretty diligent at cleaning up and sorting through my old stamp sets, but if I love them, then I keep the sets. Finish by adding some mix size dew drops.
