Happy Valentine’s Day, my crafty friends!! Brenda here with a floral friendship card featuring the Calming Cosmos 2 Layering Stencil Set in one of my favorite ink combos!!

I began by stenciling the Calming Cosmos 2 Layering Stencils onto white cardstock with Soft Amethyst, Periwinkle, Iris Blooms, Grape Crush, Lemon Drop and Found Topaz inks. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. The Rose Leaves Stencils were also stenciled onto white cardstock with Soft Garden, Bright Fern and Deep Emerald inks. They were cut out with their Coordinating Die.

For the background, the Sand Dollar Coverplate Die was cut from white cardstock and adhered over a panel of pale purple cardstock. I die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the largest die in the Rectangle A2 Nested Die Set. The second largest die in the Dome Nested Die Set was die-cut from the center and it was adhered onto the front of the card. The flowers and leaves were arranged and adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment, from the Easy Expressions: Just Because Stamp Set, was stamped with Noir and Grape Crush inks. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. A sprinkling of Sky Blue Opaque Gems adds a little sparkle and draws your eye to the sentiment.
