Rose Valentine’s card

Hello, everyone! Anna here today with a Valentine’s card I made using Mega Garden Rose Layering Stencils.

I started by stenciling the rose image with Cherry, Dolled Up, Red Sangria, Cosmopolitan Pink and Lipstick Red inks. I then fussy cut it. For the background, I stenciled leaves image in Bright Fern using Foliage Stencil on a piece of white cardstock and cut it out with Quilted A2 Coverplate Die. Next I adhered this panel on a card base that was colored with Lipstick Red ink.

To make the sentiment, I stamped “LOVE” from 2d. Ed. Fill It In Sentiments on a stripe of vellum and heat embossed it in black. “You so much” was heat embossed in Rose Gold. To embellish the card, I added a few gems from Rhinestones Mixed – Deep Pink Gem and Rhinestones Mixed – Emerald Green.

That’s all from me today. Thank you for stopping by!

Anna

The card is WOW! I have just fallen head over heels for the 2d. Ed. Fill It In Sentiments. Sleek, elegant, and on point is how I feel seeing this. It is, as David Bowie said, “Modern Love” in a card. Yummmmm Anna, yummmmmm.
