polka bg cling WATER

Polka Dot, Cling Background 6×6

Our second set of the day is our Polka Dot cling red rubber background stamp. These are the perfect polka dots! Think KATE SPADE!

Rose Garden bg cling WATER

Rose Garden, Cling Background 6×6

Our last stamp of the day is our new Rose Garden red rubber cling background stamp.  We received such a huge response from our Peony Garden set that I just had to release a rose variation. What do you think?

Now, let’s get on with our DT inspiration cards/projects!

Ruby’s card is bright and so fun! She used all three layers in this set to create such striking, leafy background.

Mayline created a gorgeous and bright ombre leaf card. This card shows you that you don’t have to use all three layers.

D3-card02-1

This is another awesome ombre card by Mayline created by using the oak leaves from the Autumn Foliage set.

D3-card01

For Mayline’s next card, she created a fun border by stamping all three layers of the gingko leaf.  That warm yellow and green compliment each other so well!

Here is a close up of Mayline’s tag. It’s so fresh!

Next, Jess used the small leaves in the Autumn Foliage set to create this card where it seems like the leaves are being blown by the wind – doesn’t this remind you of Pocahontas? Love it!

Here is a variation of the card above. The color combination just screams Fall!

leaf shaker
Here is a leaf shaker that I made for today’s release. I watercolored the background and then gold heat embossed directly onto the background with some of the second layers of the leaves in gold embossing powder.  I die cut multiple leaves to put inside the shaker. I also used our new Changing Leaves Couture mix for this card! *** If you use the Changing Leaves in a shaker, I would suggest you do a double layer of foam tape to allow the beads to move freely around.***

polka dot

Next up, I created this simple but chic pair of celebration cards.  I am somewhat obsessed with our new Polka Dot stamp set. I was searching for the perfect polk dot to no avail.  So I created my own 🙂

polka dahlia

Next, I made this card where I added a bright pink pop of color with a slight gold accent.

The card has some dimension from the popped up floral and sentiment.

polka bow
For my last polka dot card, I stayed with the black and gold theme. I heat embossed the sentiment in gold and adhered a die cut bow onto the card to create some depth.

Ruby’s next shaker card is so pretty and pink! She offset the stamped border and the inside of her card panel to create some awesome depth.

For my next card, I colored directly onto paper with several red Zig markers to create some bold contrast to the silver glitter embossing powder. Wouldn’t this card be perfect for Valentine’s day?

We hope you all enjoyed the new stamps, dies and couture mixes sneaked today!  Leave us a new comment every day this week to enter for a chance to win a stamp set of choice from our new release. There will be four separate winners for our Daily Giveaway.  You can increase your chances of winning by leaving comments on the DT members blogs (RubyJessMayline) everyday as well.
