Fill It In Classic Numbers

Hello, crafty friends! Hope you and your family are doing well. It’s TaeEun here today sharing a birthday card featuring our latest lily stamps: Lovely Lily and Lily Bloom as the main image. But I especially wanted to showcase the awesome Fill It In Classic Numbers stamp set by The Ton today.

Fill it In Classic Numbers

The Fill It In Classic Numbers stamp set includes two sets of numbers in a classic font. One set of them has an open line in it which you could fill with Month or the day of the week. I filled the space with a sentiment I chose from Layered Floral Alphas that fits perfectly in the open space!

To start off I stamped the Lovely Lily and Lily Bloom  in a light ink on a watercolor paper panel and colored the lilies using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor. I added a bit of Payne’s gray in the background and let the panel dry.

I gold heat embossed the number 5 and 0 with the open space on a strip of vellum and stamped the sentiment from Layered Floral Alphas in Noir filling in the open line of the numbers. To avoid smudging the ink I applied embossing ink on the space where I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it in a clear embossing powder.

I cut the colored panel using a Double Stitched rectangle die, adhered the vellum strip of the back of the panel and foam mounted the panel on a gray cardbase. I finished off the card with some Glass Slippers sequins.

Thank you so much for looking my card today! I hope I could inspire you with my card!

Have a great day!

Hugs,

TaeEun

Has the winner for the blog hop been posted yet? I went back and reread the post and it says the winner would be posted on the 20th. Thank you.
