Mid-Hibiscus Layering Stencils

Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a great week so far! It’s TaeEun here today with a stenciled hibiscus postcard! Like my last card I shared here on Saturday, I once again used layering stencils without the coordinating outline stamp. The Mid-Hibiscus layering stencils coordinate with the Blooming Hibiscus stamp set and the Mid-Hibiscus die

To begin, I cut white cardstock using the coordinating die and stenciled the Mid-Hibiscus onto it on the Grip Mat. I stenciled the first layer in Lemon Drop, the second layer in Amber Citrine and Peach Blossom, and the third layer in Coralline hybrid ink. The leaves were stenciled in Matcha and Everglade Moss

I then stenciled the orange and green stripes on the white cardbase in Coralline hybrid ink and Matcha using the Postage: Stripes stencils. I foam mounted the background panel, which I cut using the Postage Party die, to the cardbase. The postage stamp image from the Not a Bill set was stamped in Noir, and the Sentiment from the Postage: Sentiments set was stamped in the same colors as the stripes.

I added the flower and the leaves using foam tape to the card and scattered a few Bright Yellow opaque rhinestones to complete my card!

That’s it from me for today! I hope you like my card 🙂 !

Thank you so much for visiting!

Sweet Cherry Blossoms

Hello, everyone! It’s TaeEun here today with a floral card featuring Sweet Cherry Blossoms stencils and the postage-themed stamp and stencils from the ninth Anniversary Release.

I tried watercoloring the Sweet Cherry Blossoms image using the stencils and added the floral arrangement to the postcard background.

To start, I die cut a watercolor paper panel using the Sweet Cherry Blossoms coordinating die and colored the image after securing the die cut watercolor paper on the Grip Mat. I colored the flowers through the stencils, starting the first layer in soft pink. Then I watercolored through the stencils for the second and third layer in darker pink, after the previous layer was dry. After that, I watercolored the leaves and the stem using the stencil and let the watercolored piece dry.

To create the background, I first stenciled the Postage Stripes in Valentine Red and Deep Sapphire. Next, I stamped some elements from the Not a Bill stamp set onto the background in Noir and stenciled the hearts using the Postage Stripes stencil in Bubblegum.

I ink blended Bubblegum in the area where I wanted to place the Sweet Cherry Blossoms image and foam mounted the flowers onto the background. I cut  a flower off from the lower end of the watercolored image and placed it over another flower using foam tape to give the floral arrangement some dimension.

To finish off I scattered a few Crystal Clear Rainbow Rhinestones.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

I hope you enjoyed looking at my card!
