Hello Blue Peonies

Hi all. Happy mid June. Vera here with Thursday inspiration for you all. Today, I am showing some love to Peaceful Peonies layering stencil set.

I decided to use cool color tone for my card by using the combination of Miami Cool, Deep Sapphire and Ocean Teal ink. Once I finished with the stenciling, I die cut the piece with Coordinating Peaceful Peonies dies.

Then, I carefully adhere the pieces to light gray card base. For the sentiment, I used the hello from Bold General Greeting Word Plate Dies, another oldie die set that is just timeless in my book. Finsihed by adding some Dew Drops.

Quick, easy and fun. What could be better than that? Well peeps, I hope you enjoy today’s card and we appreciate you stopping by here. Have a beautiful Thursday!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!

Wishing you all a happy, healthy and crafty YEAR!!!

It’s TaeEun here today with a Happy New Year card 🙂 ! I used the Peaceful Peonies stencils set for a floral background and added the Ribbons Happy sentiment to it.

To start I stenciled the Peaceful Peonies on some white cardstock. I stenciled the peonies in pink using Bubblegum, Dolled Up and Deep Peony and the small flowers in Blue Diamond, Cali Blue and Soft Amethyst. The leaves were colored in Meadow. I added a bit of darker green to them in Evergreen. When I stenciled the small flowers I covered the other parts with some scrap paper to stencil them in different colors.

After the stenciling was done I cut the image using the coordinating die, adhered foam tape on the back of the die cut piece and attached it on a gray cardbase.

The Ribbons Happy sentiment was stenciled in Deep Sapphire and True Navy and cut with the coordinating die. I added it to the card with some foam tape. I heat embossed the sentiment “NEW YEAR” from the Ribbons Holiday set in white on some navy cardstock and attached it on the die cut “happy”.

Lastly I finished off the card with some white and Sapphire Gems.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Let’s have lots of crafty fun this year again!

Birthday Peonies

Hi all. Vera here. For today’s card I am showcasing one of my favorite stencil set the Peaceful Peonies.

Lately, I find playing with stencil as calming & therapeutic. No surprise there as I always love playing with colors. For this card, I started by blending Meadow for the leaves and Bright Emerald, Caribbean Turquoise, Ocean Teal for the flowers & Parisian Blue for the buds.

It’s actually pretty just the way it is, isn’t it? Well, after I was done with stenciling I decided that I didn’t want to use the white background. So, I die cut this panel using the Peaceful Peonies Coordinating die and even went a bit further by cutting the pieces apart so I can rearrange the flower position on my card base.

Once I finished adhering all the pieces, I add the birthday sentiment from Rose Labels set and added some Dark Purple Opaque rhinestones. To finish the card, I added some metallic glimmer water color (you can see the pretty shimmer on the video that I’ll post on my Instagram account HERE. On the upclose of the card below you see the metallic color just as dark colors, but on the short clip on IG as I moved the card you could totally see the pretty shimmer of the colors. So, check it out there please. 🙂

Well peeps, that’s all from me today. Hope you’re having a beautiful day. Cheers….

 Peaceful Peonies Layering Stencil

Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a great week so far! It’s TaeEun here today with a floral card which is featuring the Peaceful Peonies Layering Stencil and die sets from the 2022 Anniversary Release. It is a 6”x 6” set and the coordinating die cuts the arrangement of the peony clusters as single piece. It’s easy to align the stencils if you die cut the panel first.

I die cut the Peaceful Peonies from some white cardstock and stenciled it using the layering stencil set. For the peonies I used Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms and Violet Fringe. While I stenciled the first layer with Soft Amethyst I added a bit of pink to it. The small flowers were stenciled in yellow using Lemon Drop and Amber Citrine and the Leaves in Matcha

After the stenciling was done I cut the floral clusters to arrange them onto a A2 sized card as I wanted.

To create a colored background I ink blended the bottom part of a yellow cardbase in Lemon Drop and Amber Citrine and splattered white opaque ink on it.

I foam mounted the peony clusters as shown in the picture and cut off the excessive parts.

The sentiment is from Easy Expressions Birthday set. It was stamped in Grape Crush and Noir. I finished off the card with a few Pale Orange Opaque Rhinestones.

That’s it from me ! Hope you enjoyed looking my card today!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
