Hello Blue Peonies

Hi all. Happy mid June. Vera here with Thursday inspiration for you all. Today, I am showing some love to Peaceful Peonies layering stencil set.

I decided to use cool color tone for my card by using the combination of Miami Cool, Deep Sapphire and Ocean Teal ink. Once I finished with the stenciling, I die cut the piece with Coordinating Peaceful Peonies dies.

Then, I carefully adhere the pieces to light gray card base. For the sentiment, I used the hello from Bold General Greeting Word Plate Dies, another oldie die set that is just timeless in my book. Finsihed by adding some Dew Drops.

Quick, easy and fun. What could be better than that? Well peeps, I hope you enjoy today’s card and we appreciate you stopping by here. Have a beautiful Thursday!

Jumbo Sunflower

Hello everyone! Hope you had a great week and are ready for a restful weekend! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a slimline Thanks card featuring the Jumbo Sunflower Layering stencil set.

To start off I ink blended a slimline sized Neenah solar white panel in Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Beach Blondie, Amber Citrine and Coraline Hybrid ink to color the panel in yellow-orange ombre. I then stenciled the Jumbo Sunflower on the right corner. The flowers were stenciled in Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine and Coraline Hybrid ink. I ink blended the right side of the flowers a bit darker to keep the colors matching with the background. The center of the flowers were stenciled in Warm Hazelnut, Found Topaz and Dark Roast

After the stenciling was done I splattered orange and white watercolor on the panel and let it dry.

I cut the panel with three dies from the Slimline Pierced Nested die set. I foam mounted the frame part on a white slimline cardbase and adhered the rest of the panel flat.

The Script Thanks was cut from some yellow cardstock and I layered it with one more white die cut sentiment and heat embossed the bottom part of the sentiment in gold.

To finish off I used some Metallic Gold Dew Drops

That’s it from me ! Hope you enjoyed looking my card today!

Thanks a lot for stopping by!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Precious Poppies Layering Stencils

Hello and Happy Friday, everyone! It’s TaeEun here today with a Thank you card which is featuring the Precious Poppies Layering Stencils set from the latest release.

I stenciled the Precious Poppies two times on both sides of a A2 sized panel to get a floral border.

For the three layers of the poppy flowers I chose Cherry, Lipstick Red and Wine. There is one stencil for the leaves but I used two tones to stencil them, Evergreen and Everglade Moss. The center of the flowers were stenciled in Aspen Cocoa and Noir

I stenciled the Precious Poppies once on the edge of the right side of a A2 sized Neenah Solar white panel. After I cleaned the stencils I turned them over and stenciled the poppies one more time on the left edge of the panel to get the mirror image.

I  then colored the details of the branches using my Polcychromos colored pencils.

When I was done with the coloring I cut the oval frame from the colored panel using two dies from Double Pierced Oval Nested die set and ink blended Cherry on it very lightly.

After die cutting I adhered the negative pieces flat on a white cardbase and the oval frame using foam tape on the card. I then splattered gold watercolor on the card and let it dry.

The sentiment from the Easy Expressions Thanks set was heat embossed in Liquid Platinum and in white and cut with the coordinating die

I placed some white branches underneath the sentiment which were cut using the Leafy Bits coverplate die and finished off the card by scattering some Metallic Gold Dew Drops

That’s it from me ! Hope you enjoyed looking my card today!

Thanks a lot for stopping by!

Wishing you all a restful weekend!
