Fall Leaves

Hello everyone! Hope you had a restful weekend and are feeling recharged for this new week 🙂 ! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a Fall Card. I used one of my favorite die sets, the Fall Leaves Layered Cover die set. This set includes two coverplate dies which cut eight different leaves. One die cuts the base layer, while the other one cuts the vein of the leaves. You can use them layered or as solo. The die for the base layer also cuts stitch lines on the veins of the leaves, giving them an awesome look even without the vein layer !

To begin, I watercolored a piece of watercolor paper in Fall colors. I used Karin brush markers in Burgundy, Gold, Olive Green, Copper Brown and Lime Green. Once it was dry, I cut the base layer from the watercolored panel. The detailed layer was cut from white cardstock and adhered to the base layer. I set the leaves aside to create the autumnal background.

To create a subtle background, I heat embossed the Autumn Sweater on Almond Cream cardstock using white pearl embossing powder and cut it using a die from the Rectangle A2 Nested die set. Next, I cut a white frame using two dies from the Double Pierced Rococo Nested die set.

I added the background panel to a white cardbase using foam tape and foam mounted the frame on it. I then splattered white opaque ink on the card for more interest. Then I picked three watercolored leaves and arranged them on the frame as shown in the picture. The sentiment is from the Thankful Gourds set. I stamped it in Aspen Cocoa and added it to the frame.

The finishing touch was some Metallic Gold Dew Drops.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I Hope I was able to inspire you with my card 🙂 !

Fall Thank You Card

Hello and Happy Friday, crafty friends! It’s TaeEun here today with a Fall Thank You card featuring Autumn Coloring Bits set and Fall Leaves Layered Die set. This set has a base layer and one detail layer with the vein of the leaves. I used the base layer to give my card some Fall feeling.

I started off by stamping the small Fall-themed elements from Autumn Coloring Bits set in Found Topaz. I watercolored the images and cut them using the coordinating one-piece die.

The Fall Leaves were cut from some watercolor paper and colored in Sap Green, Diarylide Yellow and Transparent Pyrrole Orange of QoR watercolor.

After the leaves were dry I splattered white opaque ink on them. I also splattered white ink on a kraft cardbase and arranged the Fall leaves on it as shown in the picture.

I cut a white oval panel using the Double Pierced Oval Nested die set and stamped the sentiment from Multi Monsteras set in Dark Roast on it. I added the oval panel on the right bottom corner of the card and decorated it with some watercolored autumnal bits.

I finished off the card with some Medallion Gold sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed looking my card 🙂 !

Have a wonderful weekend!

Fall Leaves

Hello everyone! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a Fall card! My card is featuring the Fall Leaves Layered Dies and A2 Grid coverplate die from our October 2020 Release. I also used some small bits from Cascade Bits grouped layering stamp!

I started off by watercoloring a watercolor paper loosely in various Fall colors. After the panel was dry I cut the base layer of the Fall Leaves Layered die set from it. I love that the base layer has stitched details on the veins of the leaves!!! So pretty! I splattered gold ink on the leaves and set them aside to dry.

The Cascade Bits was stamped in Hollywood Star/Grand Fuchsia and Red Sangria/Plum Wine. The stem was stamped in Warm Hazelnut and Found Topaz. I cut the image using the coordinating die

I cut two thick paper using the A2 Grid coverplate die and adhered them together to use it as a stencil. I applied white embossing paste through the stencil on a white cardbase. I did it only partially so that I have some white space on the cardbase. I sprinkled some gold and bronze embossing powder on the paste before it was dry and heat set it. The sentiment from the Cascade Bits set was stamped in Noir on the cardbase.

I arranged a Fall leaf bouquet with the leaves and the Cascade Bits, tied a bow using a natural twine and added a golden pearl to it.

That’s it from me for today! Hope you enjoyed looking my Fall card!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
