Bold General Greeting Word Plate Dies

Hello everyone!!! Hope you’re enjoying the last day of the year of 2018 with your family and friends! It’s TaeEun here today with a New Year’s card and the last floral card of this year 🙂 .

I’ve made a tunnel card decorated with beautiful floral border from Certificate of Awesomeness stamp set.

I started by making three panels. First I blended Cobalt Breeze and Blue Diamond on the first panel and Grape Crush and Cobalt Breeze on the second panel. I applied the colors on about two thirds of the upper part of the two panels. To apply the colors on the base panel I masked the border using masking tape and blended Italian Denim, Grape Crush and Plum Wine. I splattered white opaque ink on all of the panels and let them dry.

The first two panels were cut using Double Stitched Rectangle dies making a window while the window of the second panel is smaller than the one of the first panel.

I gold heat embossed the floral border image and small floral cluster from Certificate of Awesomeness set two times. I colored the images using Zig brush markers and a clear glitter pen and cut them with coordinating dies.

The happy die cut was cut with Bold General Greeting Word Plate Dies from some white cardstock, which was adhered on the first panel. I stamped Happy New Year sentiment from Banner Holiday Add On set in Cobalt Breeze.

I arranged the floral clusters and foam mounted them on every panel as shown in the picture.

Now I started assembling the card into a tunnel card. I cut two thin strips of light weight cardstock and folded them in accordion shape. I attached the sides of each panel to the accordion strips to connect them together.

I finished off the card by adding some clear Dew Drops.

As I love coloring floral images, I have one more card featuring Amazing Gardenia to share with you. I watercolored the big gorgeous gardenia image a while back. And Now I’m glad I could turn it into a card before the year ends 🙂 .

I did some no-line coloring on Amazing Gardenia and cut it using the coordinating die. I then blended Peach blossom and Crystal Pewter dye ink on a white cardstock. After the panel was dry I heat embossed our new Modern Plaid background stamp in Rose Gold Embossing powder on it. I love this background stamp! It gives every background panel a unique look!

I cut the background panel using two Double Stitched Rectangle dies to make the frame. The frame was then foam mounted on a gray cardbase and the center panel was adhered flat. I then added the gardenia and the gray sentiment strip. The sentiment is from Most Interesting Cardmaker set.

I finished off the card by scattering some sequins from Cinderella’s Ride and Deck the Halls Couture Mix.

Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a couple of cards featuring new products from March 2018 Flash Release : Heart Jigsaw Die (Stitched) and Daisy Close Up (3/4 view) Cling stamp. I also added glittery accents on my cards using Glossy Fine Transparent Adhesive Glitter paper. This glitter paper with sticky back is transparent and super sparkly! Using this you can turn any paper into a glitter paper!!!

For my first card I cut a white cardstock on which I adhered Glossy Fine Transparent Adhesive Glitter paper using stitched version of Heart Jigsaw Die.

The stitched version of Heart Jigsaw Die cut only a piece of jigsaw puzzle while other pieces being stitched. The die cut also has a thin heart outline around the jigsaw. I did a watercolor wash in pink and silver and add splatters on some watercolor paper to create the background. I trimmed the panel slightly down and dry embossed it using Double Stitched Rectangle die to add some texture.

The sentiment is from Perfect Fit sentiments set. I stamped it in Noir on the background panel. I then started assembling the card by foam mounting the background panel on a pink cardbase. I adhered the heart outline on the panel and foam mounted the heart jigsaw and the small puzzle piece. The sparkle of the Glossy Fine Transparent Adhesive Glitter paper is so pretty!!!

For my second card I watercolored Daisy Close Up (3/4 view).

To start off I stamped the image on a watercolor paper in Vanilla Frosted Cupcake and watercolored it. After done coloring I cut three small circles using a small circle die from Bokeh Burst Round coordinating dies and hello using Bold General Greetings Word plate die from the colored panel. I then adhered Glossy Fine Transparent Adhesive Glitter paper on die cut elements and cut them again using the same dies. I cut green foam as well to raise the circles and the sentiment.

The colored panel was added flat on the cardbase and then the raised circles and sentiment were placed back onto the card. At that point I thought something is missing and decided to add a butterfly 🙂 ! I gold heat embossed a butterfly from Beautiful Butterflies 1, colored it using Spectrum Noir glitter pens, cut it using coordinating die and foam mounted the butterfly onto the card!
